Preparing your body and mind before surgery is the best way to set yourself up for a quicker recovery and the best outcome.

Through LifeFit-SurgeFit, we encourage you to be in the best health possible before coming to hospital by:

  • eating the right food
  • exercising
  • reducing alcohol intake and stopping smoking
  • doing pre-surgery assessments
  • understanding the risks and benefits of your surgery
  • preventing lung complications after surgery.

Our short videos provide simple health and wellbeing tools that you can integrate into lifestyle in the lead-up to surgery to help your recovery.
