Our services

Meeting the growing healthcare needs of people living and working in Perth’s southern suburbs and across the State

Our services

The South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) aims to deliver high-quality and safe health care to people living in Perth’s south metropolitan area.

Our focus is on ensuring you receive the right care, at the right time, in the right place, by the right team.

Our network of hospitals and community-based health services work closely with our community partners, including GPs, local government and population health services, to better meet your health care needs. We have a strong focus on improving the health of Aboriginal people and providing access to culturally appropriate health care.

See a snapshot of the care we provided in 2022–23.
