Medical Oncology

Medical Oncology

Based at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Medical Oncology offers a range of services throughout a patient’s cancer journey, from initial consultation and assessment to treatment and procedures.

We also help and assist patients, their families and carers through the provision of information and services, including linking them with Cancer Council services.

The following services are available at Fiona Stanley Hospital:

  • outpatient clinic appointments
  • radiation oncology
  • comprehensive chemotherapy services
  • inpatient services
  • surgical oncology for a range of cancers
  • specialised pharmacist
  • allied health assistance through access to social workers, occupational therapy and dietitians
  • our Medical Oncology Symptom and Urgent Review Clinic, which provides specialist support for medical oncology patients experiencing side effects during or within three months of their cancer treatment.
