Audiology
The Statewide Tertiary Adult Audiology Service provides adult audiological assessments and hearing (aural) rehabilitation services across the public hospital system, including:
- Fiona Stanley Hospital
- Fremantle Hospital
- Royal Perth Hospital
- Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
Paediatric services are provided at Fiona Stanley Hospital and Fremantle Hospital.

Our services
Our experienced and dedicated audiologists identify, assess and provide rehabilitation services for hearing, dizziness and vertigo, and other ear-related conditions. These services include:
- ear and hearing health assessment
- comprehensive balance function assessment
- hearing implant candidacy assessment, including cochlear, middle ear and bone conduction implants
- hearing rehabilitation for cochlear, middle ear and bone conduction implant users
- objective and intraoperative electrophysiological hearing assessment
- close monitoring hearing loss, balance disturbance and tinnitus that can result from taking specific medications (ototoxicity monitoring)
- tinnitus assessment.

Fiona Stanley Hospital patients
Call the Fiona Stanley Helpdesk on 6152 2222 and ask for your specific clinic or audiologist.
Outpatient clinics are located on the ground floor of the main hospital building, off the main concourse. The main entrance to the hospital is accessed off Robin Warren Drive – view the Fiona Stanley Hospital map (PDF 1MB).
Fremantle Hospital patients
Call the Fremantle Hospital switchboard on 9431 3333 and ask for your specific clinic or audiologist.

Royal Perth Hospital patients

Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital patients
