Apply to join our Maternity Advisory Group and share your insights
Community members willing to share their knowledge or experiences to support future maternity care services at Fiona Stanley Hospital are encouraged to apply to join its Maternity Advisory Group.
“This group represents the interests of all parents who access our maternity care services,” Midwifery Manager Leanne Graham said.
“The insights of group members are essential to enhancing our maternity services and giving families the best possible birthing experience.”
People from all walks of life are encouraged to apply, with the group inclusive of all genders, disabilities, culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and Aboriginal people.
Members give two hours of their time every eight weeks to attend a meeting, and a few hours between meetings to review information.
Group members also receive a small payment for their time.
