State Adult Burns Service referral

The State Adult Burns Service provides comprehensive burns care and support to patients aged 16 years and older from across Western Australia.

Care for patients aged under 16 years is provided by the Burns Service at Perth Children’s Hospital (external site).

Referral pathways

Acute burn referral pathway

Please phone the Fiona Stanley Hospital Helpdesk on 6152 2222 and ask for the Burns Registrar.

If the Registrar is unavailable, please contact our Burns Clinical Nurse Consultant on 6152 7611 from 7:30am – 4pm on weekdays only.

GP referral

GPs are asked to refer patients via Clinician Assist (external site).

Non-urgent rural or remote patients

Please email photos of the injury to FSH Burns telehealth and referral details will be sent to you.
