Urology
We provide elective and emergency urology services to patients with a range of urological conditions, including complex care for patients with cancer and other diagnoses.
Our inpatient service is located on level 6 of Fiona Stanley Hospital. We also provide spinal urology services in conjunction with the State Rehabilitation Service.
Our service has strong links with Fremantle Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital (external site) to provide comprehensive kidney stone management services.
Supporting your recovery after prostate surgery
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in WA. One treatment is the surgical removal of the prostate, which is known as a prostatectomy.
If you have had a prostatectomy, a series of short videos is available to help you support your surgical recovery and outcomes through:
- developing good bladder and bowel habits
- returning to exercise
- stretching to reduce perineal pain.
