Pastoral Care Service

Pastoral Care Service

Pastoral care services are available to patients, families, carers and visitors at both Fiona Stanley and Fremantle hospitals.

Our services are offered to all people regardless of whether they have a religious affiliation.

Working alongside our medical, surgical and rehabilitation services, our team brings a holistic approach by offering:

  • a supportive presence for patients and families throughout their hospital journey
  • confidential person-centred pastoral counselling and emotional support
  • conversations about emotional and spiritual concerns
  • assessment of spiritual or religious needs
  • opportunities for prayer, reflection, mindfulness and meditation
  • individual sacramental ministry
  • rituals to mark significant life moments
  • bereavement support and services.
