Mental Health
Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Group (FSFHG) provides mental health services to youth, adults and older adults.
Our services provide evidence-based care with strong consumer and carer engagement and work collaboratively with community managed organisations and general practitioners (GPs) to support the patient's long-term recovery.
Some services are only available to consumers in the FSFHG mental health catchment. Other services are available to consumers across the broader South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) mental health catchment. The SMHS mental health catchment map (PDF 262KB) lists suburbs in the FSFHG and SMHS catchments. Some services are also available to consumers from across Western Australia.
We provide these services across a variety of settings, including:
- the Emergency Department at Fiona Stanley Hospital
- inpatient and liaison services at Fiona Stanley and Fremantle hospitals
- our Cockburn Health facility
- community services.
Some people move progressively from mental illness to wellness, while others may move forward but then take a step back. Read more about understanding your mental health care journey.
Care is provided by multidisciplinary clinical teams including:
