Help shape the New Women and Babies Hospital Project
The New Women and Babies Hospital Project team has begun its next round of community engagement, calling for consumers to join Project Community Advisory Groups (PCAGs).
PCAGs will meet at regular intervals throughout the life of the project to share their experience on a broad range of topics. This will include whole-of-facility aspects like the overall look and feel, outdoor and communal spaces, wayfinding, accessibility, and culturally safe spaces.
The advisory groups will help make the new facilities welcoming, inclusive, safe, and appropriate for everyone who uses them.
In addition to PCAGs, user group workshops are underway. User groups bring together medical, nursing and midwifery, allied health, non-clinical and executive staff, as well as consumer representatives, to advise on the functional requirements for each of the facilities within this project.
Community members can find out more and apply online (external site) by Friday 1 November 2024.
