Ordering patient meals (Fremantle Hospital)

During your hospital stay we want to provide you with tasty meal options that meet your dietary needs and food preferences.

Your first meal at Fremantle Hospital will be ordered for you. For the rest of your stay, we encourage you to select your own meals via a menu assistant who will visit you each day.

The menu assistant will provide you with meal choices that meet your dietary needs and recorded food allergies.

Ordering your own meals means you can choose foods suitable to your food preferences and cultural needs. It also helps to reduce food waste.

Important notes

  • If the closing time to order a meal has passed, or your treating team has changed your diet, we will arrange a suitable meal for you.
  • If your treating team advises your diet has changed or that you need to fast, you will receive a suitable meal and will then need to reorder future meals.

Meal service times
