Respiratory Service referrals

The Respiratory Medicine Service at Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group provides a broad range of adult respiratory diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients.

Referrals can be made through the Central Referral Service of WA (external site).

Advanced Lung Disease Unit referrals

Referrals can be made direct to the Advanced Lung Disease Unit for:

  • lung transplantation
  • pulmonary hypertension
  • lung volume reduction (surgical and bronchoscopic techniques)
  • interstitial lung disease.

Thoracic Malignancy Clinic referrals

Urgent referrals for suspected lung cancer cases for patients within the FSH catchment (external PDF 2MB) can be made directly to the Fiona Stanley Hospital Referral Service rather than via the Central Referral Service (CRS).

Referrals can be directed to the Thoracic Malignancy Clinic. Please include details of any current/prior private radiology in the referral.
