Transmission
: Faecal-oral, food-borne and water-borne.
Incubation period
: 4 to 30 hours (usually 12 to 24 hours).
Infectious period
: No person to person transmission.
Case exclusion
: In general, people with symptoms of enteric infections should be excluded from work, school, activities involving groups of people. See
