School-based immunisation program campaign
The school-based immunisation program offers students in years 7 and 10 free vaccinations to protect against infectious diseases.

Objectives
- Raise awareness amongst parents and guardians of children who will be in year 7 and year 10 about free school immunisations to protect their child against serious infectious diseases.
- Encourage parents and guardians to register their child online and consent for school immunisations.
Key messages
- The school-based immunisation program offers students in year 7 and year 10 free school immunisations to protect against serious infectious diseases.
- Year 7 students can receive the human papillomavirus (HPV) and diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (dTpa) vaccines to protect against whooping cough, genital warts and some cancers.
- Year 10 students can receive the meningococcal ACWY vaccine to protect against 4 types of meningococcal bacteria.
- Parents and guardians are encouraged to register their child online and consent for school immunisations.
